As our ministry was originally founded through praying in tongues. We are strong advocates for prayer and have a lot of experience in consistent, long hours of prayer. All the benefits of tongues can be accessed by everyone,
for the best results consistency and long hours is the key.
PRAYER AND RELIGION
We want to take you deeper into the divine mystery of tongues. Tongues are a revelatory gift from the Holy Spirit. By praying in unknown tongues, heavenly wisdom and knowledge is downloaded and infused into our spirit. As we pray, the Holy Spirit will continually guide us to the next revelation, consistently growing and maturing us in the knowledge of the Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:11 NKJV
"For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him?
Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God."
We have discovered that praying in tongues is a gateway to revelation knowledge and is a key to unlocking the profound spiritual mysteries within the word. The word of God should not be read with man's wisdom but with the power of the Holy Spirit working within us. Praying in tongues builds up our spirit and as our spirit grows, we are able to receive deeper spiritual understanding of the word because our spiritual capacity has increased.
As we continue to pray, the Holy Spirit will break down and reveal all religious barriers that are obstructing and hindering our relationship with God. A religious barrier is anything that is blocking us from walking in the fullness of what God has for us, including His blessings. Religious barriers can include but are not limited to; incorrect ideologies, demonic doctrines, emotional bondages, habitual sins, and distorted perceptions of God's nature and character.
God desires to reveal His kingdom to us.
He invites us to experience His word, rather than
just reading it. It is very important to have both
the Holy Spirit guiding us and using the Word as our standard of measurement (plumb-line). Religion want's to restrict themselves to rules and regulations, acting as the modern-day Pharisees.
Matthew 23:13 NKJV
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men;
for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in."
REVELATION KNOWLEDGE
YHVH desires to lead us deeper into His kingdom secrets, and speaking in tongues is the avenue to explore more of His kingdom. Every experience and revelation should be tested against the standards of the Word, which is our plumbline.
2 Corinthians 3:6
"...for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."
Paul exemplified the extraordinary potential of speaking in tongues and possessed profound
insights into the teachings of God.

"I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all".

"speaking about these things as he (Paul) does in all of his letters. In which there are some things that are difficult to understand, which the untaught and unstable [who have fallen into error] twist and misinterpret,
just as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction."
Engaging in meditation with tongues and reflecting on scripture unveils a different kind of revelation
knowledge that is only accessible to individuals with a fortified spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:14
"But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him;
nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
In our experience the more we yield and surrender our lives to the Holy Spirit, the more we can enter into revelation knowledge. By practicing this, we can outsmart our adversaries and strengthen our relationship with God. Unlocking more of the supernatural in our everyday lives, and expand our understanding of our identity as children of God and the limitless possibilities as heirs in Christ. Praying in tongues provides us the keys to walk down pathways that are unfamiliar to the majority of people, fuelling our faith and deepening our understanding of the spirit and YHVH. By revealing knowledge, it cultivates a stronger thirst to pursue higher spiritual wisdom
and greater intimacy with God and His kingdom.
Discovering that the journey with Yeshua is not dull or religious, you can break forth and change the desires of your heart, and this will reflect in your everyday life. Tongues is a gift that will unlock our destiny scroll stored in heaven, containing the blueprint for our lives. Continuing to pursue unknown tongues consistently will keep us on the path to walking out YHVH's will and the mystery that has been written for our lives, rather than our own will.

COMMUNICATE WITH GOD
While engaging in prayer, it is much easier to receive and communicate with God through more advanced means of prayer such as; visual prayer and focused prayer, see the video below. You can receive quick responses to your prayers and receive divine wisdom and counsel on what is hindering your prayers, as there may be blockages in the spirit realm. As we often forget, prayer is a channel of communication with YHVH, prayer is a way that He will actively engage with us. It's a 2 way communication channel where we can pray and also discover His perfect will and desire while praying, which aligns our heart and soul to pray with Him.

OVERCOMING THE FLESH
While building up our spirit, the benefits can include emotional and physical strength that will help us overcome temptations in all forms, such as falling into old patterns of pride, fears, sexual sin, lust, addictions, rage, anger, gossip,
jealousy, envy, self-pity, torment, shame, guilt, and all emotions that are not of YHVH.
It also helps us resist the pulls of the flesh and the whispers of the enemy (the Tempter).
Praying in tongues helps remove these negative emotions, it also helps us grow in the fruits of the spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law".
While praying in tongues, you may notice that negative traits and emotions surface (such as the list above). It is important to understand that this is not an attack from the enemy, but rather a beneficial aspect of praying in tongues. The Holy Spirit works within us to reveal any ungodliness so that we may address it and seek healing to rid ourselves of corruption. Many times, we have a tendency to bury and disregard our ungodly qualities, relying solely on our own willpower. Unfortunately, this willpower is not sustainable and will inevitably fail. The Holy Spirit does not desire for us to suppress our ungodliness, but rather to bring it to the surface, allowing for healing, purging and complete restoration. Luke 12:2 NKJV
"For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known."
Praying in tongues will amplify the natural sanctification and pruning of the Holy Spirit. As you continuously pray in tongues, you will begin a war between your spirit and your carnal nature. Everything within you will start to resist and try to prevent you from praying, as your flesh loses dominance over your spirit. This battle is not easily overcome.
Every aspect of your carnal nature will resist as the Holy Spirit prunes unnecessary activities. In our experience these can include; watching TV, using social media, scrolling online, watching YouTube and movies, watching sermons, playing video games, over eating, consuming unhealthy foods, wasting time, shopping ect...
The Holy Spirit will begin to remove ungodly emotions and behaviours that are not beneficial to your walk with Him. You will also feel strongly convicted about your ungodly behaviour. It's your choice to either go along with the Spirit and remove everything that does not produce good fruit, or resist the Spirit and continue feeding your sinful nature and ignoring God's correction. As believers, we must surrender to the Spirit and fight against the temptations of the flesh and the world. Initially challenging, the process of pruning will gradually become easier as you dedicate yourself to prayer, nurture your spirit, and trust in God's grace. Ultimately, your focus will shift towards God,
shaping your life around Him.
Colossians 3:2 NKJV
"Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth."
Praying in tongues was one of the gateways that led us to the revelation of a process we have called the
'Purging Process'. During times of prayer the Holy Spirit may reveal spiritual hindrances over you and your family, such as unclean spirits, witchcraft, demonic altars, occultism, covenants, curses, open doors, spells, hexes, and vexes.

This process is not limited to praying in tongues. Being conscious of this process during prayer and in daily life can be a great blessing to your relationship with YHVH. You will understand how He communicates with you to help cleanse and purify any corruption within you and your bloodline.
The power of praying in tongues can also help remove any scales and veils that may be hindering your spiritual senses, and can help you become aware of any hidden pride and idolatry you may have. These are some of the biggest barriers and causes of spiritual blindness, to experiencing the spirit realm and developing our senses (spiritual taste, touch, smell, seeing and hearing).

spiritual growth
Speaking in tongues accelerates spiritual growth and helps us progress into maturity, from children into sonship. It enhances our spiritual perception, even for those who may not experience immediate breakthroughs.
It may require time and consistent practice to start developing the spiritual senses to see, feel,
hear, touch, smell, know and perceive in the spirit.
Often believers think they always know the will of God, and most would be shocked if they truly knew what Gods will was in every circumstance. Many times when we pray, we think we know what is best, and our fleshly desires, our will, our carnal nature can often become a hindrance to the Holy Spirit working through our lives or others. During times of adversity or when challenges arise, the source of opposition may reside in the spiritual realm, leaving us unsure of what to pray for in order to find resolutions. For example, when praying for someone's salvation, we may not realize there is a spiritual blockage that needs to be broken in the spiritual realm to see their salvation manifest in the natural.
By praying in tongues, we can rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to pray the perfect will and solution for us.
By combining God's perfect prayer with visualization or focused prayer, we can align ourselves with praying God's will for our lives and for others. God has given us the perfect answer!
Romans 8:26 NKJV
"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
Our personal experience shows that consistently praying in tongues will cause other gifts of the Holy Spirit to manifest in your life. Praying in tongues builds up your spirit, enabling you to utilize your spiritual senses and communicate with the Holy Spirit, leading you to produce good fruit, of miracles, signs, and wonders. We also discovered through the natural process of purging through tongues, we started to experience more evident healings through the laying on of hands. While we seek YHVH and not the gifts directly, the gifts are a by product of our intimacy and maturity in His Kingdom. The gifts themselves are not indication of your level of spiritual maturity, as we see this in the book of Corinthians. However the gifts equip the body of Christ to help save the lost and build up the ecclesia.
As we see in the book of Exodus, even the wise men of Pharaoh could do many signs and wonders. The same as Moses and Aaron, and this is why it's always important to test the spirit's and the fruit they are producing.
The ability to discern spirits can indicate growth and maturity.
Hebrews 5:14 NKJV
"But solid food belongs to those who are of full age(maturity), that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised(trained) to discern both good and evil."
As you continue to engage in prayer and growing your spirit combined with other foundational spiritual practises, such as Waiting on God, Meditation, Worship, Fasting, your spirit capacity will start to expand and YHVH will begin to reveal His Kingdom to you in the natural and spirit realm. You may start to experience what we refer to as "missions" in the spirit, such as spirit travel, translation, and trans-relocation. You may also begin to have visitations from the Kingdom of Heaven and from God. As Holy Spirit leads us, Christ of God Ministries will teach on these spiritual topics,
however for now we are still growing these spiritual practises and we will only teach what we personally walk out and live by, and not man's theory. We highly encourage you to continue seeking YHVH through the foundational spiritual practices listed on this website, and He will begin to teach you Himself.

"The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things..."
dream authority
A benefit from praying in tongues is the breakthrough into unlocking your dreams and dream authority. This can result in dreaming more often, experiencing more vivid dreams, receiving translations, engaging in spiritual missions and communicating with YHVH. There is a strong correlation between praying in tongues and an increase in dreams.
We have observed significant results when praying in tongues out loud or internally before going to sleep. We recommend trying this consistently for a week or longer, and keeping a record of your dreams, the content revealed by YHVH in the dreams, and any changes in your sleep patterns. You will likely see a dramatic impact on your
dream life through the practice of praying in tongues.
Throughout the Bible, dreams are shown to be a major way in which the Lord communicates,
as seen in the stories of Joseph, David, Daniel, and others.
Job 33:15-18 NKJV
"In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction. In order to turn man from his deed, and conceal pride from man, He keeps back his soul from the Pit, and his life from perishing by the sword."
Extending the amount of time you pray everyday will also enhance your dreams. In our experience prayer has improved our overall dream experience, giving them more clarity and also being more efficient in interpreting the symbolic meanings.
leading of the spirit
When you are consistent in praying in tongues, you will become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leadings, including the direction He wants to take you. You will also experience being led by the Spirit to meet the right people at the right time, being in the right place at the right time, and things will begin to easily align for you. You will find yourself walking in His perfect will for your life.
You will also notice that if your prayer life slows down, you may find yourself not knowing which direction to go or finding it more difficult to discern God's leading. You may not even notice your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit until it is gone. If your prayer life slows down, so does your spiritual walk and your overall sensitivity to the spirit realm. We have found that prayer is necessary no matter what season the Holy Spirit takes you through, whether it be a season of waiting or a season of studying the word.
Your prayer life must never cease.
The powerful gift of praying in tongues is a mystery that is continuously being revealed to us through experience and long hours of praying. It is impossible for anyone to completely grasp the power that comes with praying in unknown tongues.
