This practice reflects the deep relationship that King David had with God, as he would spend dedicated time in quiet communion with Him.

WHAT IS WAITING
ON god?
Have you ever wondered what it takes to perceive the unseen and hear God's voice with clarity? How can we consistently walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, impacting the world around us? What is the secret that seems to elude some, enabling them to operate in the supernatural realm of God? The answer lies in the practice of waiting on God (also known as Waiting on the Lord).

STILLNESS & SILENCE
When we intentionally enter into moments of silence, stillness, and expectation, we position ourselves to sense, hear, and see His presence, power, and direction in our lives like never before. It is through the act of waiting on God that we unlock the mysteries of the spirit realm and experience a deeper connection with Him. As we draw near to Him, He promises to draw near to us. It is time for us to set aside our own agendas and make room to spend quality time in His presence. He is eagerly waiting for us to come and commune with Him. Consider dedicating a mere month to deliberately including waiting on God in your prayer routine. By committing to this spiritual practise, you will start to experience the life-changing fruit of waiting on God. You will discover that the rewards far outweigh any initial doubts or hesitations you may have and you will soon taste and see the the Lord is good, in a whole new way.
As we wait on God, blocking out the distractions of the world and giving Him our full attention, we can learn how He speaks and communicates with us. By practicing stillness and silence, we position ourselves to receive from God in a more impactful way than in our daily distracted lives. Through understanding how He communicates with us, a true relationship and intimacy is nurtured in our spiritual journey. In our experience we have discovered the longer you can stay and abide in His presence within the same session uninterrupted, the greater saturation and benefits you'll receive.
We typically aim for sessions of at least 1-3 hours without interruption, and we hope to increase this with God's grace. Initially, you may only be able to sit still for 5-10 minutes, which is normal until you become more practiced in waiting and are able to spend more time in His presence. We suggest that beginners try to spend at least 30 minutes to 1 hour, as this will provide the most benefits. Both the Purging Process and Praying in Tongues can help quieten and still your mind before you engage in Waiting on God.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH
By actively engaging in the spiritual practice of waiting on God, you can experience benefits such as infused patience (and all fruits of the Spirit), revelation knowledge, instant wisdom downloads, spirit travel, translation, visions, trances, increase in spiritual senses, exchanging corruption for His holiness, visitation of God's Kingdom, increased dreams and dream authority, growing in power and authority, and much more.

Often, the benefits of waiting will become apparent after long periods of time spent in His presence. You may not see immediate results while waiting, but you may see positive outcomes in other areas of your life.
This will spiritually enlighten you to see the natural and spirit realm like never before, changing your whole dynamic of living day to day. As waiting on God opens the door to a deeper level of intimacy, revelation, and supernatural encounters with Him and His Kingdom, creating the pathway for us to enter in through the torn veil and into the heavenly realms of YHVH's Kingdom.
As Yeshua preaches the 'Kingdom of YHVH is at hand', so let us enter into this promise that Yeshua paid for with His life.

This will equip you to influence the world with Jesus and YHVH's love, strength, and divine wisdom. Let us set aside our distractions, quieten our hearts, and enter into the sacred place of waiting on God. He is waiting for us with open arms, ready to reveal Himself in
ways we have never experienced before.
INNER HEALING
Waiting on God will truly change the way you live, move and have your being. Learning to live and abide within Him in every moment. As it's during this precious time spent dwelling in His presence, it's here in the secret place, in quiet stillness, a spiritual exchange takes place and we are transformed in His presence, trading our corruption and ungodliness, in exchange for His purity and righteousness. It's in this deep intimate communion that you begin to experience the transformative power that releases us from bondages like depression, sexual immortality, addiction. He begins to wash us clean, changing us from glory to glory, bringing inner healing and full restoration of our spirit, soul and body. It's in this sacred fellowship with our divine creator, that He unravels the webs of corruption around us and infuses us with His own being, His purity, His Love, Light and Life. Providing us with that wonderful peace that surpasses all understanding.
As we engage frequently with the spiritual practise of Waiting on God, we will see the tangible fruit grow and multiply within our lives. As you are being moulded to become like Yeshua (Jesus), who is the first fruit,
the first born, who has shown us
the path that leads to life.
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord". 2 Corinthians 3:18.
INTIMACY WITH YHVH
Are you wanting to have a relationship like David did with YHVH? Like Moses and YHVH? What about walking with Him until you are no more, like our brother Enoch? Like the book Song of Solomon, Waiting on God is the KEY to building a true relationship with our Creator, our Heavenly Father, who created us to walk with Him in the garden. There is absolutely no limitations or religion when it comes to building a relationship with Him, as love is not bound by the law.
"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
1 Corinthians 13:13
Relationship and deep intimacy that comes from Waiting on God, being still in His presence will unlock the supernatural Kingdom of YHVH in your life. This will enable you to become the new creation He created you to be. Jesus, Father and Holy Spirit have been waiting for us, and this is the path-Way Yeshua created for us to walk on to receive a greater level of intimacy with our loving Father.
While we are waiting, we are focusing on giving Him our time. We are spending time with Him because we love Him and there is nowhere else we would rather be.

The benefits of waiting can be seen immediately or later on in our journey. The Lord will likely test us to determine if we are truly seeking Him or just His gifts. A test could be not receiving anything supernatural or not feeling His presence, not seeing anything in the spirit
or not receiving visions for a time ect...
Continue waiting on the Lord and pursuing Him regardless if you don't feel, see, sense anything. Eventually you will receive a breakthrough! Everyone's appointed time of breakthrough is different, this could be one day for someone, and could be 1-2 years for someone else.
Although you may experience this wilderness period of testing's, rest assured that you are still being transformed in His presence and growing in the spirit, even if it does not seem like it.

Waiting on God cultivates patience and trust:
It teaches us be still, and trust that He is touching our lives and spiritually exchanging us for Him, as we sit and abide in His presence.

It develops qualities such as perseverance, humility, and surrender as we learn to align our desires with His will.

HOW TO
WAIT?
START YOUR JOURNEY TO WAITING ON GOD
We recommend when you sit down to engage in waiting on the Lord, that you close your eyes and look into blackness. Looking with intent and desire to 'see', as you'll often see things in the blackness of your eyes.
It's important to write down all your experiences and visions, as stewardship of what YHVH gives us is very important. You also may find your notes to be helpful in the future.
"I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it." Habakkuk 2:1-2
While waiting on God and focusing on Him, you should pay attention to what is happening in your mind, as this is one of the pathways God will speak to you. He may speak in random thoughts, images, memories, songs, verses, worries, ideas, sounds, pictures and movies in your imagination, visions, trances. Anything that may come to your mind could be symbolic and could require interpretation, including things the Holy Spirit is revealing for you to purge. We recommend writing these down to interpret or purge at a later time.

If you are new to waiting on the Lord, it takes practise and patience to learn how Holy Spirit speak to you.
Over time you will be able to distinguish what is the clutter of your soul and what is Holy Spirit.

Before you start!

Be Still and Know That I AM God
First we recommend watching our videos on Waiting on God. Secondly, shut your door, lock yourself in your secret place with Him and be in His presence alone. It's important to give all your time to God, giving Him your full attention. We suggest removing distractions, remove your phone from the room, remove all disturbing noises, lock out your animals, and find a time where your children aren't doing band practise.
Now that you are in the secret place without any distractions, find a comfy position that you can sit in for extended hours without moving (or as little as possible). The longer you can sit still in His presence without moving, the greater the benefits are.
As your body finally settles, close your eyes and begin to look into the blackness of your eyes. With desire and intent, focus on the Lord and immerse yourself in Him.
An example; thinking about Him, thinking about scriptures of Him, His names, imagining Him, or anything that can be used as an anchor to keep yourself focused on Him while your waiting.
Continue to seek Him in this way for as long as possible.

Handy Tips!
When first beginning this spiritual practise we recommend trying to be still and silent in the mind, and only focusing on Him. Spend your time learning how He speaks and communicates with you.
Waiting is not religious! It's intimacy!
You are free to do what you like! You can try communing with God, telling Him about your day, asking about your dreams, tell Him all your exciting or not so exciting news, trust me He wants to hear it all! You can try meditating on scriptures, or ask Him some questions and wait patiently in silence for answers.

Don't rush the process, don't have strict times to get in and get out. He is our heavenly Father who wants so intently to spend time with you.
Is your mind too distracted? Thoughts drifting off? Don't worry we all experience this, realign your mind back to Him and keep going! Be patient, learning to wait takes practise!
If you have just spent time watching YouTube or TikTok and you try to wait on God straight after, you will immensely struggle. Minimise the use of all online platforms, TV, radio ect... before you go in with the Lord.
This will help keep you focused and more relaxed! Instead, spend time reading your bible, praying or worshipping just prior to going into wait on God as this will help align your heart to His and encourage you to want to spend time with Him. While you're waiting, remember nothing is more important in this life than growing in relationship with Him. Remembering this will help keep your flesh from wanting to leave His presence, as your carnal nature doesn't want to keep still.

Praise the Lord for giving
us Freedom!
While waiting on God in His presence, we open ourselves to receive profound healing and deliverance. In the stillness and surrender, we allow His divine touch to penetrate our hearts, minds, and bodies, bringing restoration and wholeness. As we patiently wait, God's presence becomes a sanctuary where burdens are lifted, wounds are healed, and chains are broken. It is in this sacred space that we experience the transformative power of His love, finding freedom, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose. Praise God for His everlasting mercy and love.
WHEN TO WAIT
We also recommend finding a suitable time to wait on the Lord, as in some instances you could find yourself sleeping on the Lord instead. You may find waking up earlier before work or seeking Him after dinner is the most suitable time for you. Most people who practise waiting on God also have full time jobs, families and other priorities and duties to attend to. However waiting on God and spending time alone in His presence is crucial to your spiritual walk and journey with YHVH. If you find you are falling asleep often, try awaken your body and mind before you begin to wait on God. Some people have a cold shower, enjoy a coffee or exercise the physical body. Our experience is to find a comfortable spot to wait, sitting in an up-right position, in a slightly cooler temperate, so your body is likely to stay more awake.
LISTENING TO MUSIC
Many also listen to instrumental worship music while waiting on the Lord, however if you are falling asleep, we suggest trying to wait without any music. Steph personally enjoys having no music, to be fully engaged in communicating with YHVH without any distractions. She also discovered being in complete stillness and silence, she is able to receive more visions and have more encounters with the Kingdom of YHVH.
Everyone is unique and may prefer different types of music also. We recommend trying this for yourself and seeing what may suit you best.
SPIRITUAL SENSES
As you are Waiting on God you can also practise exercising your spiritual senses (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching and perceiving ect...). A fun exercise to practise seeing in the spirit is, using an eye mask, so you can practice receiving visions with your eyes open. Or perhaps turn off the lights and be in complete darkness to practise seeing in the spirit realm without any distractions.
We encourage you to engage with Holy Spirit, and ask Him to teach you to use your spiritual senses while you are waiting on God. This will also teach you how Holy Spirit speaks and how the spirit realm operates.
ENCOUNTERS
During Waiting on God, you may start to experience the spirit realm. Many people encounter bright lights and orbs, feel sensations of peace or heaviness, smell and taste, hear angels singing and more.
This can also lead you to participate in spiritual activities with Jesus, YHVH and His Kingdom.
As children of God, we can walk with Jesus and YHVH, immersing ourselves completely in Him and His Kingdom, however when we are engaging in the spirit realm, you may also encounter other spirit beings from the kingdom of corruption. All spirits, experiences, encounters and wisdom or knowledge we receive, must be tested back to the Word of God, as the word is our plumbline. This is why its crucial we are deeply grounded in the word, so we are not easily deceived. By building a intimate relationship with Holy Spirit you will be able to ask Him to help guide you in all truths, as He is the Spirit of truth. We do not need to have fear, always have faith that God is bigger, stronger, mightier than anything created in heaven or on earth.
When encountering any spirit beings, the first and most important key is to call upon Jesus for protection and to test all the spirits by questioning them ; Did Jesus Christ come in the flesh and is He God?
If the spirits answer no or does not answer at all, call upon Jesus to help you and
rebuke the spirit, by commanding them to leave.
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.".
1 John 4:1-3
